Terms of Service
Last updated 21 July 2026
Blanq is run by Novak Tomic in Zürich, Switzerland. By using it you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it. Below, "I" and "me" mean the person who runs Blanq, and "you" means you, the person using it.
What Blanq is
Blanq has two parts, and both are free. The editor, at blanq.izum.ch, finds the blanks in a PDF and lets you fill them in. Reading the file, finding the blanks, filling them, and saving the result all happen in your browser, so your PDF is never uploaded. Blanq AI, at blanq.izum.ch/ai, is a separate tool that fills a form for you, and it does send pictures of your pages to an outside service to work out the answers.
Blanq AI sends your pages out
When you use Blanq AI, images of the pages you pick go to a third party (currently Google and OpenAI) so it can read them and suggest what to write. What those companies do with that data on their side is governed by their own terms, which I don't control. The security page spells out exactly what is sent and what is kept. If that isn't acceptable for a given document, use the editor instead: it sends nothing.
Check what it fills in
Blanq AI is a convenience, not an authority. It can be wrong, skip a field, or misread a scan. Always read what it wrote before you rely on a document or send it anywhere. The final content is yours to check, and yours to answer for. Blanq will never sign anything for you.
Fair use
Don't use Blanq to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or abuse the service, for example by trying to get around the daily limits or to disrupt it for other people. I may block access for misuse.
No warranty, and what I'm liable for
Blanq is free and provided "as is", with no warranty of any kind. It may be unavailable, lose work in progress, or return a wrong answer. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss or damage that arises from using it. Nothing here removes liability that can't be excluded by law, and any mandatory consumer-protection rules where you live still apply.
Changes
I may update these terms, and the date at the top will change when I do. If you keep using Blanq afterwards, you accept the new version.
Governing law
Swiss law applies. The courts of Zürich, Switzerland have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence.
